James L. Heilman (Jim)
James L. Heilman was born and raised in Franklin, Tenn. as has his family been for several generations.
Many artists suceed from extensive formal training. Jim has been gifted with brush, pen, and an acute eye for nature and says that his abilities are one of those gifts from God.
Jim has always been an animal and nature lover and has always had an intrest in the Native American culture as you can tell by the exact detail in his work. He has also recently started to move into the Civil War art field.
Jim has been painting for abaut fifteen years and has been selling to private collectors only. He is now making his work available to the public for the first time.
